Music provision at Bloomsburys is in constant development.
After a couple of unforgettable music evenings this Autumn and winter with the Extraordinary Tony O Malley and the brilliant up and and coming Pete Molinari we are still in the process of sorting out an amazing line up for 2012. We have just confirmed Bap Kennedy for Friday 9th March, who has just finished making a record with Mark Knopfler and will be performing sell out gigs thoughout the country during the spring.
Our new venue offers a stunningly intense, intimate and confortable space, quite unique and with emphasis on getting as close as possible to the performer. Keep in touch with us to hear of the gigs and events as they are announced and book early to avoid disappointment. as space is limited.
The Studio
The recording studio at Bloomsburys offers the highest quality and value for money. Painstakingly sonically conditioned and sound proofed, it is an impressive set up. The Pro Tools HD rig is combined with a 2.9 Mac Pro running Pro tools 10HD or Logic Pro 9 software, but of course this is only academic without the hands operating it.
The owner and engineer, Russell Pay, has been making and producing records for over 20 years, and as well as being an accomplished musician, engineer and producer is a qualified teacher of the guitar with avariety of musical prodigies and wide range of musical collaborations over the years.
Russell has produced bands and musicians from all walks of life and from all musical genres, from classical, musical, dance, rock and acoustically based folk all the way to hard core Metal and Punk rock.
The studio can fulfil whatever musical requirements you have, whether it is composition, arrangement, pre production, recording, post - production and mixing, or mastering and duplication. Russell is an experienced mastering engineer with an extensive discography and can squeeze every drop of potential out of your recording.
